| Wood-block
printing is a traditional form of artwork,
which uses a hand carved wood-block as it's basis. In the reduction
printing process, the handcarved wood block is printed in a single
colour on Rag paper. Additional detail is then carved from the wood
block, and a further layer printed in another colour. This process
is duplicated by degrees, with varying colour layers, to achieve the
final look. |
