"We were inspired by the work Victoria created for Denarau Island, so approached her to provide original artwork for the renovated Malolo Island Resort. The resort has a fun, bright, colourful aspect, unique in Fiji. To complement this environment,Victoria painted diptychs - pairs of paintings - for each room, and created unique carvings from local sandstone, as markers for each bure. Victoria has a unique ability to adapt her style to create artworks specific to an environment - her work has added character and magic to the resort."
